Semi Permanent Lip Liner, Blush and Full Lip Colour
Have Gorgeous looking Kissable, Sexy lips 24/7
It’s coming up to that time year, cold, wet and miserable, the summer holidays seem like a distant memory and Christmas is fast approaching. There are things to look forward to, Christmas parties, fun times with family and friends. But, there is nothing worse than trying to apply lipstick over sore, cracked, chapped lips that have been exposed to the harsh elements of the winter weather.
Whether you are looking forward to a night on the town with the girls, your office party, or just snuggling up close to the one you love in front of a nice warm fire with a hot drink then what you really want is delicately coloured, smudge proof, kissable lips.
Lips are the most sensual feature of your face. Full perfectly pink lips are a sign of youth and ooze sex appeal. Uneven lips can be balanced out, blushed and the vermillion border crisped up to give a youthful appearance.
Permanent lip liner, blush or full lip colour can ensure you have this. Permanent lip colours gives you beautifully shaped and subtly tinted lips with a crisp border, giving your lips and an illusion of fullness without the need for fillers. Apply a clear lip gloss or balm without having to worry about them smudging or the colour running or bleeding. Permanent lips will not add volume of puffiness as fillers would, but giving the lips a great outline will give the appearance. Its all about the illusion! No longer worry about cracked, dull lips.
Semi permanent or permanent ink can be used in the lips. Permanent ink, such as used in conventional tattoos has a watery consistency, but the colour will be stronger. Semi permanent pigment as used in other areas of permanent makeup is thicker but gives a more natural powdery finish. It will exfoliate out of your skin and I recommend a top up/colour boost every 12-18 months to ensure they look great at all times.
The healing process takes 7-10 days, the first day the colour will look great and the lips will be slightly swollen due to the procedure (most clients say they would love them to stay like this!) then the lips look dry and chapped as the exfoliation and healing procedure begins. The colour will then get lighter over a couple of days then the colour will start to come back with the truest colour after about 3-4 weeks, then you come in for a top up and colour boost to make sure your lips will stay that way for the next 12-18 months.
If you suffer from cold sores (herpes simplex virus) then lip procedures can bring out the dormant virus that is in your body. I recommend you see your doctor to get medication or self treat with a cream such as zovirax in the 5 days before and after treatment to make sure they do not come up.
Unlike permanent eyeliner and eyebrows lip procedures do not work on every skin tone. Darker skin tones can hyper pigment and actually look darker. Ladies with very dark skin need to avoid dark reds and purples as this can heal to an unnatural looking colour. Saying this it is not impossible to do, you just need to make sure you choose your permanent makeup specialist with care and the pigment is chosen with you skin tone in mind.
